Comhghairdeas mór le Jigjazz who were crowned this year’s winners of An Ríl Deal on Sunday night on TG4.

A big congratulations to the Newry-based dance group, whose dancers have Newry, Belfast and Monaghan connections. Jigjazz wowed the judges and viewers throughout the series and were up against stiff competition in the Grand Final of the ultimate free-for-all Irish dance competition.

Tasked with making the crucial call were An Ríl Deal’s three esteemed judges, all experts in the field of Irish dance; Galwegians Labhras Sonaí Choilm Learraí and Ronan O’Connell and Maynooth’s Úna Ní Fhlatharta and it was judge Úna who cast the deciding vote in a nail-biting finish!
