"Our message was clear, Newry is open for business and we are uniquely placed as the gateway to both the UK and European Markets given our location on the northern side of the border. Our promotional material was well received and we made our mark on what was a positive week for Northern Ireland in the United States."

Michael Savage, CEO of Newry Chamber added: “While the few days were filled with hectic engagement, we made a lot of excellent contacts all of whom were extremely positive towards the Newry narrative. Now that we have contacts developed, the Chamber will be working hard over the coming months to ensure that real economic dividends start to flow for this area and Newry is established as a great place to do business in the hearts and minds of US investors and business and political leaders."
