Southern Trust to continue to manage Kilkeel Medical Practice on a temporary basis
The Department of Health has confirmed that the Southern Health and Social Care Trust has agreed to continue managing Kilkeel Medical Practice on a temporary basis.
The Trust had been managing the practice on a temporary basis from November 1, 2023 until March 31, 2024, following the resignation of the previous GP partners.
The previous GPs said they had been unable to recruit GPs to fill several vacancies.
“Patients do not need to take any action and should continue to contact the practice as normal,” a DoH spokesperson said.
