So we have decided to take a peek through our archives to find some old photographs to share with you!
In this selection we have gone back to July 1985, when Live Aid took place, Back to the Future was released and Frankie by Sister Sledge was top of the charts.

1. Giving Postman Pat a helping hand

2. Sponsored Spell In
Two members of Newry Combat Cancer Group, Mrs May Ferris and Mr Hubert Murphy, Chairman, visited St Colman's Abbey Primary School in 1985 where the principal, Bro T N MacQuillan handed over a cheque for £753.38, the sum raised at the sponsored Spell In, organised by the Newry Combat Cancer Group. 3. Sponsored Slieve Donard climb
St Mary's High School girls raised £222 by a sponsored climb of Slieve Donard and a concert. Michelle Manley, whose mother donated a garment for the raffle, handed over the cheque to NI organiser for Concern, Mr Paddy Magennis. 4. Club Cheri does its bit...
Mr Frank O'Hare, proprietor of Club Cheri, Warrenpoint, handing over a cheque for £1,000 to Mr John Boylan, a member of the local fire unit, in 1985. £500 was collected at the club from customers and staff in support of Live Aid, the trans-Atlantic rock fundraising marathon in aid of the starving in third-world countries.
