Appeal after car 'driven dangerously at a high speed'
Police in Newry have made an appeal for witnesses following reports of a car travelling at high speeds last weekend.
They are looking to speak to motorists who were driving on the A1 dual carriageway in the northbound lane past Newry on Sunday, October 22 at around 6pm.
"It has been reported to us that a white VW Golf was being driven dangerously at a high speed whilst undertaking vehicles," a police spokesperson said.
"The incident occurred prior to the Armagh Road off slip.
"Did you see a white VW Golf driving recklessly at this date and time on the A1? Do you have Dash-Cam footage?
