House ransacked during Newry aggravated burglary
It was reported that a number of men with a shotgun ransacked a house and made off with a quantity of cash.
Officers are now looking for the public’s assistance in catching those responsible for the incident.

Hide AdDetective Sergeant Lewis said: “At approximately 1.50am, it was reported that approximately three or four masked and armed men, one believed to be carrying a shotgun, entered the house in the Belfast Road area and threatened the residents.
“The men ransacked the house before making off with a quantity of cash in the direction of the A1.
“The residents were uninjured however damage was caused to a window and items of furniture.

“Enquiries are ongoing and I am appealing to anyone who may have any information or CCTV, doorbell or other footage that could assist with the investigation, to contact detectives on 101 quoting reference 143 of 27/01/24.”
