Police investigating a stabbing incident in the Richmond Court area of Newry on Monday 18th September have charged a man to court.

The man, aged 44, has been charged with burglary with intent to commit grievous bodily harm, and grievous bodily harm with intent.He is expected to appear before Downpatrick Magistrates Court today, Thursday 21st September.As is usual procedure, all charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.
