“Newry Mourne and Down PCSP aim to increase confidence in policing, and the open forum that the community engagement meeting will provide is crucial to establishing this. I would urge members of the public to attend the meeting on February 6, to ensure they have their voice heard on local community safety issues.”

Supt Norman Haslett said, “We would encourage members of the public to take this opportunity to speak with their local policing team about issues which are affecting them in the Newry, Mourne and Down area. At the meeting, PSNI personnel will be available to answer questions and address any concerns or issues you may have about policing across our district. During the meeting, there will be a presentation on our strategy to tackle violence against women and girls.”

The meeting will include a presentation from Women’s Aid Armagh Down. No booking is required for this free to attend meeting.
