Police make appeal following city centre assault
Police in Newry have made an appeal after a man was assaulted in the city last month.
Officers are appealing for information and witnesses in relation to the incident, which occurred on December 30 at approximately 8pm at 'The Tunnels', Newry.
This is the pedestrian underpass under Abbey Way.
Details of the assault have only been released in the past few days.

Hide AdIt is believed that four males were involved in this incident described as wearing jeans and hoodies.
They also made off with a mobile phone and quantity of cash.

A spokesperson for the PSNI said, “If you were in the area at the time or witnessed these persons or have dash cam footage, please contact police on 101 quoting reference 1492 31/12/2023.”
