Detectives are appealing for information and witnesses following a report of burglary in Newry.

A house in the Hawthorn Villas area was reported to have been broken into on Saturday, 27th January sometime between 5.30pm and 6.30pm.

An amount of cash was reported missing from the property.

The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information including dash-cam, mobile or CCTV footage of the area or who may have witnessed suspicious activity is asked to contact police on 101, quoting reference number 1285 27/01/24.

The burglary took place in the Hawthorn Villas area of Newry.
