The Little Princess Trust has just received its second donation from Jacqui Hawthorne from Madden, Keady.

On Saturday, December 30, two years after her previous hair cut for the charity, Jacqui again donated her lengthy locks to The Little Princess Trust, with the longest length measuring 19-and-a-half inches.

She entrusted the cutting of her tresses to her sister in law, Charlene, from Haus of Hair, Camlough, who later styled her a beautiful new pixie look.

Jacqui commented, “Needless to say, I felt the cold a bit more when I went outside.

"I think I'll be happy for my hair to grow back, now it's just to keep reminding myself that it's for those who need it more.

"Donating my hair to The Little Princess Trust is such a simple way to make a big impact on someone's life. The wigs made are for children and young adults up to who have lost their hair due to cancer treatments or other conditions.

"Making the decision to cut my hair is merely the minimum I can do to support those who have been affected by hair loss.”

Donations on the day raised over £400 which along with her Just Giving donation page has totalled just over £800 so far.
