Hiking Hens present a cheque following their walk.
The Hiking Hens have presented a cheque for over £14,000 to March to the Arch.

The Hens and friends set off from Kilbroney Park, Rostrevor on Sunday, September 24 on the 'Luke's Loop' walk.

All money raised went to help raise money towards a vaccine for Luke Johnston, who was diagnosed with a stage 4 glioblastoma following the diagnosis of a brain tumour in March 2023.

The fundraising event was organised by Maria O'Grady and Bridget Higgins with the support of Deirdre Morgan, Edna Grant, Fiona McGivern and Ann Rice.

The group wish to thank everyone that took part in the hike and are delighted to announce that Hiking Hens raised £14,317.49 for Luke.

They also wish to thank Team Dog and Hen crew for your support in marshalling the event, and all the local businesses for providing raffle prizes and food donations for event.
