'Sickening' graffiti left at Warrenpoint play park

Cllr Mark Gibbons said the graffiti had been reported to Newry, Mourne and Down District Council.

Condemning the vandalism, the independent Crotlieve representative said, "Sometimes I can be just left speechless when it comes to the nonsensical actions of others, and this is one of those times.

I am absolutely disgusted to see this graffiti at Ringmackilroy Play Park, Warrenpoint (the plots to me and you).

"Whoever did this is an incredibly sad and sick individual and they should hang their heads in shame. 

"To do this at all is bad enough, but to do it in a child’s play park is just sickening to be honest.

"I have reported this to the Council and hopefully it can be cleaned up ASAP. Thank you to local residents for the heads up."
