The Newry team dominated the game with an excellent and controlled display. Jamie Franks had a brilliant game and scored an impressive four goals. The other scorer’s were Ronan McCann, Diarmuid Hartigan and Luke Crilly.

This excellent display will improve the confidence of this young team and will encourage them to continue their development. The determination of the Newry side was rewarded when in the 89th minute the dangerous Finn Keenan Travers finished off a great move by the Newry City team and hammered a great shot into the top corner of the net to record a fabulous win for the team.
