Leigh Fulton, Head Boy at St Joseph's Boys' High School, spoke at the unveiling of a statue for Pat Jennings in Newry.

“We are so proud to say that the first player in English football to make 1,000 appearances was a St Joseph’s boy,” he said.

"We are delighted that when UEFA had to pick the best Northern Ireland player over the last 50 years they chose someone who sat at a desk on the Armagh Road.”

Pat was joined by family, friends and former team mates for the unveiling, which took place on Wednesday morning.
