Allianz Football League fixtures confirmed for Armagh and Down
Armagh open their league campaign with a home game against neighbours Louth, whilst Down travel to newly-promoted Wicklow at the end of January.
The Allianz Football League fixture list was confirmed this afternoon and now supporters can begin making their plans for what promises to be two exciting campaigns, as both counties have their sights set on promotion.

Hide AdArmagh won’t want to stay in Division 2 for overly long, having been relegated from Division 2 last year, whilst Conor Laverty will be hoping that his side can get promoted from Division 3 at the second time of asking, after they narrowly missed out last season.
For Armagh, Donegal will be regarded as their biggest test in the league, especially with Jim McGuinness re-instated as manager for a second term, whilst they travel to Netwatch Cullen Park to take on Kildare, and Pairc Ui Caoimh to take on Cork, amongst their mouth-watering fixtures.
Down have home advantage against both of the teams who are dropping down from Division 2 – Limerick and Clare – whilst an all-Ulster battle away to Antrim could have a big say in terms of their promotion push.
