​Talented Belfast comedian Ciarán Bartlett is bringing his infectious humour to Warrenpoint Library for a book reading session for children aged seven years and above.

Taking place ​on Saturday, December 2 at 2pm, the comedian, writer, and columnist is currently immersed in the exciting world of crafting novels specifically for younger readers.

Ciarán is excited to share his wit and wisdom with an eager audience and is inviting young readers to come along and be part of his creative journey.

He is keen to share some extracts from current projects during the session and these will then be discussed with audience in attendance.

Feedback received on the day will play a crucial role in helping Ciaran decide which novel to focus on before he submits them to publishers next year.

Karen Maginnis, Libraries NI District Manager said: “This is a fantastic opportunity for our young readers in Warrenpoint and beyond to meet and get to know Ciarán, a self-proclaimed voracious reader and writer, just one week after having performed his comedy show ‘Belfast Giant’ to a packed SSE Arena.

"It is great to know the children will help influence the decision on what novels may be published soon.”
